English/ Between the Layers. Video projection of three short films. "Between the Layers" is a video series that explores the hidden depths of human emotions and subconscious layers. Through video projections and symbolism, the films act as a window into the inner realms of the human mind. The videos aim to reach the viewer on a deeper level by using symbols, colors, and movements to create a connection to the otherwise unseen layers. “I Eat” (1:47 min): This work presents a symbolic act of solipsism, of repetition in reflection. The act of “eating” becomes a ritual, where one’s own desires and fears are digested. “Heartwash in the Kitchen” (2:12 min): In this work, an act of self-purification and renewal takes place. By cutting organs and letting them fall into water, the deep, the unknown, and our subconscious are represented. “Stasis in Limbo” (1:47 min):
This artwork explores a subconscious paralysis of stillness and isolation. The half woman is fragmented in a loss of time and wholeness. Time seems to lose its meaning, and every movement becomes a struggle against the infinite void.
English/ “The Stream of Impulse” is an art installation that examines the awareness of our motives. A hypnotic video of a school of herrings is projected onto a holographic round glass plate, looping for 2 minutes. The herrings represent our subconscious self and the collective consciousness. They are influenced by underwater, bass, and metallic sounds. Metallic sounds, often used in ritual contexts, here become a symbol of something new — a moment of change, a new impulse. Through a combination of visual and auditory elements, the work seeks to open a dialogue about collective energy, societal influence, and our individual path within the crowd. “The Stream of Impulse” poetry: Metallic sounds resonate - in the dim room - through herrings in a vibrating hum - a symphony of impulses - a ritual of change, - our path - my path - dysphonia - tentacles’ spirit free.
